OPB had an interesting article about Portland’s Housing Crisis with a look down that line at what’s coming up.  Click the link for the full article.  The main thrust of the article is that rents are skyrocketing – with the average rent paid in Portland (currrently $1691/month) increasing by nearly $100 per month.  That puts Portland just behind powerhouse markets like Denver and San Francisco – the only cities that have faster rising rents than Portland.
